“Palm Springs” premieres on Hulu on July 10th

“Palm Springs”, co-invested by Sun Entertainment, will be available to stream on Hulu starting July 10. “Palm Springs” is a romantic comedy film directed by Max Barbakow, in his directorial debut. The film was selected in the US Dramatic Competition @Sundance Film Festival this year. With the excellent performance by Samberg, Milioti and all other actors, the film received raving reviews during its premiere. #Neon and @Hulu acquired distribution rights to the film for a record-breaking US$22 million at Sundance.

The story is about a carefree Nyles (Andy Samberg) and reluctant maid of honor Sarah (Cristin Milioti) have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding, things get complicated when they find themselves unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other.”

“The movie is so touching and sharp about the ideas it chooses to spotlight. Despite “Groundhog Day” becoming a genre unto itself, Max Barbakow’s witty and wise “Palm Springs” is the first movie that doesn’t just apply that old formula to a new problem, but also fundamentally alters the basics of the equation,”-IndieWire’s David Ehrlich.
